Business Card Holder with Mother of Pearl Imaginary Lion Design

This unique name card holder is ornamented with a luxurious mother of pearl design of Haetae, an imaginary animal eating fire which resembles a lion and is believed in Korea and China as a guardian against disaster. The stone Haetae is placed in the royal palace and temple.
 Unlike other machine-cut printed mother of pearl designs, the mother of pearl designs on this unique name card holder, which are delicately jigsaw-cut by hands, are individually inlaid by our skilled artisan as shown in the large pictures. The arrangement of iridescent design's luster and color made of two different types of mother of pearl creates wonderful harmony with the black background, making it a remarkably attractive piece.
